Peace With God Through Christ

đź“– Scripture

“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” -Romans 5:1

✨ Reflection

Peace is one of the deepest longings of the human heart. Yet true peace is not simply the absence of conflict, it is reconciliation with God. Paul reminds us that because of Jesus, we are justified through faith. His birth, His life of perfect obedience, and His sacrifice on the cross opened the way for us to be restored to God.

This is the peace that Christmas celebrates. The child in the manger grew to be the Savior on the cross, and through Him, the barrier of sin was torn down. We no longer stand condemned; we stand forgiven. And in that forgiveness, we find peace that cannot be shaken.

When the world feels unstable, when our own hearts feel restless, we can rest in this truth: Jesus has reconciled us to God. That reconciliation is not temporary—it is eternal. It is the foundation of every other kind of peace we long for.

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for reconciling me to the Father through Your birth, life, and sacrifice. Thank You for the peace that comes from knowing I am forgiven and loved. Help me to live in that peace daily and to share it with others who are searching for hope. Amen.
