Designed for Togetherness
Subtitle: God’s Gift of Companionship
Scripture:
“Then the Lord God said, ‘It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him.’” — Genesis 2:18 (ESV)
✨ Reflection
From the very beginning, God said “not good” about one , and made us for two. Marriage isn’t simply a social arrangement; it’s divine companionship. He knew we’d need a fellow sojourner to laugh with, pray with, and carry burdens alongside us. In every season, your spouse reflects God’s intention that life is richer when shared.
🛠️ Application
• Take ten minutes today to ask your spouse or future spouse, “How can I walk beside you right now?”
• Plan one simple activity together; a walk, coffee, or prayer time, to nurture your bond.
• Journal about a moment when companionship turned a struggle into a blessing.
🙏 Prayer
Holy Spirit, thank You for placing my spouse beside me as a gift.
Teach me to treasure their presence, to listen with empathy, and to serve with joy.
Deepen our shared journey and help us reflect Your heart for togetherness.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
