Bound by Covenant
Subtitle: Unbreakable Promise of Marriage
Scripture:
“What God has joined together, let no one separate.” — Matthew 19:6 (ESV)
Reflection
Marriage isn’t a contract you sign and can later cancel; it’s a covenant mirroring God’s steadfast love for us. He never quits on His people, and in the same way, marriage calls us to a faithfulness that transcends feelings and seasons. Every vow you speak echoes His unbreakable promise: in joy and in sorrow, in plenty and in want, you’re held by grace.
Application
• Revisit your wedding vows or write covenant promises to each other, read them aloud.
• Pray for supernatural faithfulness in the moments you feel least like staying committed.
• Encourage another couple by sharing how God’s covenant grace has upheld you.
Prayer
Lord, thank You for binding us in a covenant that reflects Your faithfulness.
When challenges arise and emotions wane, remind us of our vows and of Your unwavering love.
Give us strength to persevere, grace to forgive, and hope to believe in our forever.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
