When the people of Israel heard God’s Word read aloud, they were moved to tears. But Nehemiah reminded them of a powerful truth: the joy of the Lord is your strength.

Joy is not just an emotion, it is a source of power. It lifts weary hearts, steadies trembling hands, and gives courage to keep moving forward. Joy is the evidence that God is with us, even in the midst of trials.

This joy is not shallow happiness; it is rooted in the unshakable presence of Christ. It empowers us to face challenges with hope, to endure hardship with faith, and to shine light in places of darkness.

When we choose joy, we are choosing strength. We are declaring that God’s goodness is greater than our grief, and His promises are stronger than our fears.
