Rejoice Always
Scripture
“Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice!” — Philippians 4:4
✨ Devotional
Joy is not dependent on circumstances, it flows from the presence of God. Paul wrote these words while imprisoned, reminding us that joy is not fragile or fleeting. It is a choice to lift our eyes above the weight of today and fix them on the Lord who never changes.
When we rejoice in the Lord, we declare that His goodness is greater than our struggles. Joy becomes a testimony of faith, a light that shines even in the darkest places. Choosing joy is choosing to trust that God is at work, even when we cannot see it.
This week, let’s practice rejoicing, not because life is perfect, but because God is faithful. Joy is the overflow of His love in us, and it strengthens our hearts to keep moving forward.
🙏 Prayer
Lord, thank You for the gift of joy.
Teach me to rejoice in You always, even when life feels heavy.
Fill my heart with Your presence, and let my joy be a witness of Your faithfulness.
Amen.
