On the night of Jesus’ birth, heaven could not stay silent. Angels filled the sky with praise, declaring glory to God and announcing peace on earth. This was not ordinary peace, it was the peace of reconciliation between God and humanity, made possible through the gift of His Son.

The angels’ song reminds us that peace is at the very heart of Christmas. It is not simply the absence of conflict, but the presence of Christ. His coming bridges the gap between heaven and earth, offering us favor, forgiveness, and the assurance that we are not alone.

When we celebrate Christmas, we are invited to join the angels’ chorus: to glorify God and to receive His peace into our hearts. In a world that often feels restless and divided, the birth of Jesus is God’s promise that true peace is possible, peace that begins within us and flows outward to others.
