The Prince of Peace Has Come
God’s gift of peace to the world
📖 Scripture
“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given… and he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” -Isaiah 9:6
✨ Devotional
Centuries before the manger in Bethlehem, Isaiah prophesied the coming of a child who would carry divine titles beyond imagination. This child was not just another leader, He was the Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, and Prince of Peace.
Christmas is the fulfillment of that promise. In Jesus, God gave the world His greatest gift: peace. Not a fragile peace that depends on circumstances, but a lasting peace rooted in His presence. He is the Prince of Peace who reconciles us to the Father, calms our anxious hearts, and teaches us to live in harmony with others.
When we celebrate Christmas, we are not only remembering His birth, we are receiving His peace anew. In the chaos of life, His peace is our anchor. In the noise of the season, His peace is our song. And in the brokenness of the world, His peace is our hope.
🙏 Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for coming as the Prince of Peace. In You, I find rest, reconciliation, and hope. Teach me to walk in Your peace and to share it with those around me this Christmas. Amen.
